For tailors
Tailor shop software for orders, measurements and billing
Stop hunting through notebooks. Save each customer's measurements once, book the order in a minute, and always know what is due for trial, delivery and payment.
Free during the beta. Works on phone, iPad and computer.

What you can do
Measurements that are never lost
Save measurements per garment for every customer, with fractions like 29 1/2. Next time they visit, the old measurements are already there.
Your garments, your fields
Shirt and pant are set up for you. Add your own garments, rename measurement fields and drag them into the order you take them.
Orders in a minute
Pick the customer, add garments, set the trial and delivery dates, take an advance. Each order gets its own number.
A calendar of what is due
See every trial and delivery by date, so nothing is promised twice and nothing is forgotten.
Bills with your tax
Discounts, tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive prices, and GST or VAT worked out for you (in India: CGST and SGST, or IGST). A clean invoice you can print or save as PDF.
Payments and balances
Record advances and final payments. See who still owes money, including old balances from your paper book.
Photos on the order
Attach photos of the fabric, a design reference or a paper slip to the order, so the details stay with it.
Regular customers, spotted
Customers are tagged as regular after repeat visits, and each profile shows their full order and payment history.
Receipts for thermal printers
Print any invoice as an 80 mm receipt as well as a full page.
One payment, many bills
When a customer pays a lump sum, it is spread over their unpaid bills, oldest first, and you see where it went.
Speak the measurements (beta)
Say the numbers in English, Hindi or Gujarati and they fill in for you. Voice is in beta and still being tested, so it will make mistakes for now. Everyone can try it.
Voice measurements · beta
Try it: speak a customer's measurements
Measure the customer and say the numbers out loud, in English, Hindi or Gujarati. Fractions like a half and a quarter work too.
Voice is in beta and still being tested. It will mishear words for now, so it will not work as well as it should yet. Everyone can still try it, here and in the app.
Say for example: “chest 40, waist 36 and a half, sleeve 24 and a quarter”
Uses your browser's speech service (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari), so your voice is sent to them to be turned into text. Nothing is saved. Privacy

Guides for tailors
Shirt and Pant Measurement Chart for Tailors
Which measurements to take for a shirt and a pair of trousers, how to take each one, and how to record them so every repeat order fits.
Tailor Order Book: What to Record for Every Order
The details a tailoring shop should write down for every order, so nothing is forgotten between booking, trial, delivery and payment.
How Tailors Can Keep Every Delivery Date
A simple way for tailoring shops to plan trials and deliveries, avoid overbooking busy days, and stop customers coming back for garments that are not ready.
Tailors: questions and answers
Is this a tailor billing software or a measurement book app?
Both. It keeps every customer's measurements like a measurement book, and it makes the order, the bill and the tax invoice. It works for tailors, boutiques and alteration shops.
Can I use my own measurement fields?
Yes. Every garment has its own list of measurement fields. You can rename them, add new ones, remove ones you do not use and drag them into your preferred order.
Does it make tax invoices?
Yes. Choose GST, VAT or no tax in Settings and enter your rate and tax number once. For shops in India, invoices show the taxable value with CGST and SGST, or IGST for customers in another state.
Can I move my old customers in?
You can add customers with their existing customer number and any old balance they still owe, so your paper book and the app match.
Where is my data stored?
In your own account, online. You sign up with an email and password, and your customers, orders, stock and bills are saved to a secure database as you work. Only you can see your shop's data. You can also download a full backup file or export spreadsheets at any time.
How much does it cost?
Loomton is free to use during the beta. Paid plans will be announced before the beta ends, and there will always be a free plan for small shops.
Which devices does it work on?
It runs in the browser on phones, iPads, Android tablets and computers. There is nothing to download: open the website, sign in and use it. You need an internet connection.
