Next time they visit, the old measurements are already there. - Your garments, your fields: Shirt and pant are set up for you. Add your own garments, rename measurement fields and drag them into the order you take them. - Orders in a minute: Pick the customer, add garments, set the trial and delivery dates, take an advance. Each order gets its own number. - A calendar of what is due: See every trial and delivery by date, so nothing is promised twice and nothing is forgotten. - Bills with your tax: Discounts, tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive prices, and GST or VAT worked out for you (in India: CGST and SGST, or IGST). A clean invoice you can print or save as PDF. - Payments and balances: Record advances and final payments. See who still owes money, including old balances from your paper book. - Photos on the order: Attach photos of the fabric, a design reference or a paper slip to the order, so the details stay with it. - Regular customers, spotted: Customers are tagged as regular after repeat visits, and each profile shows their full order and payment history. - Receipts for thermal printers: Print any invoice as an 80 mm receipt as well as a full page. - One payment, many bills: When a customer pays a lump sum, it is spread over their unpaid bills, oldest first, and you see where it went. - Speak the measurements (beta): Say the numbers in English, Hindi or Gujarati and they fill in for you. Voice is in beta and still being tested, so it will make mistakes for now. Everyone can try it. - Not available yet: Several devices and staff logins for one shop; A version for computers that works with no internet; Screens in Hindi and Gujarati. ## Fabric shops: what it does - Stock in metres, yards, pieces or rolls: Each fabric keeps its own unit. Quantities work to two decimals, so 2.75 m is exactly 2.75 m. - Low-stock alerts: Set a level for each fabric and see what is running out before a customer asks for it. - Purchases and suppliers: Record what you bought, from whom and at what price. Stock goes up automatically. - Fast sales by the metre: Add fabrics to a sale, type the length, apply a discount. The total and tax are worked out for you. - GST and VAT bills: Fabric can have its own tax rate, separate from stitching. GST and VAT both work, and invoices for India show CGST and SGST or IGST with HSN codes. - Customer balances: Sell on credit and see what each customer still owes across their fabric purchases. - Full stock history: Every purchase and sale is kept against the fabric, so you can see where each metre went. - Works with tailoring: Run a fabric counter and a tailoring counter from the same app, with the same customers. - Returns and credit notes: Take fabric back in a few taps. Stock goes up, the bill goes down, and a credit note is made for invoiced sales. - Labels for rolls and shelves: Print labels with the fabric name, price and a barcode, then scan the label to add the fabric to a sale. - Not available yet: Several devices and staff logins for one shop; A version for computers that works with no internet; Screens in Hindi and Gujarati. ## Clothing stores: what it does - Sizes and colours done properly: One product, many variants. Each size and colour has its own stock, price and barcode. - Print barcode labels: Print labels on 50 × 25 mm or 40 × 30 mm label rolls, or on plain A4 sheets. One label per piece in stock, in one tap. - Scan with the camera: No scanner needed to start. Point your phone or tablet camera at the barcode to add the item to the bill. - Quick counter billing: Scan or search, set a discount, take payment. The sale gets its own number and invoice. - Stock in, stock out: Record new stock as it arrives. Every sale lowers the count for that exact size and colour. - Prices that include tax: Sell at a price that already has the tax inside it (MRP in India). The invoice still shows the correct tax breakup. - Sales history: Look up any past sale and reprint its invoice. - One app for the whole shop: Selling fabric or stitching as well? Switch those modules on and use the same customers. - Your own size sets: S to XXL, waist sizes, kids sizes, or lists you make yourself. Pick a set when you add a product. - Returns at the counter: Take pieces back against the original sale. Stock, the bill and any refund are worked out for you. - Not available yet: Several devices and staff logins for one shop; A version for computers that works with no internet; Screens in Hindi and Gujarati. ## Guides - [Shirt and Pant Measurement Chart for Tailors](https://loomton.com/guides/shirt-and-pant-measurement-chart/): Which measurements to take for a shirt and a pair of trousers, how to take each one, and how to record them so every repeat order fits. - [Tailor Order Book: What to Record for Every Order](https://loomton.com/guides/tailor-order-book/): The details a tailoring shop should write down for every order, so nothing is forgotten between booking, trial, delivery and payment. - [How Tailors Can Keep Every Delivery Date](https://loomton.com/guides/tailoring-trial-and-delivery-dates/): A simple way for tailoring shops to plan trials and deliveries, avoid overbooking busy days, and stop customers coming back for garments that are not ready. - [How to Track Fabric Stock by the Metre](https://loomton.com/guides/fabric-stock-by-the-metre/): A practical method for cloth shops to know how many metres are left on every roll: what to record on purchases and sales, and how to catch shortages early. - [Barcode Labels for a Clothing Shop: A Simple Guide](https://loomton.com/guides/barcode-labels-for-clothing-shop/): How a small clothing store can start using barcodes: one code per size and colour, what to print on the label, and billing with a phone camera. - [How to Track Pending Payments from Customers](https://loomton.com/guides/track-customer-credit-pending-payments/): A clear method for tailors, fabric shops and clothing stores to track advances, balances and credit, and to collect pending payments without awkwardness. ## Using the modules together - One customer, one history: The same customer can buy fabric, order stitching and pick up a ready-made shirt. Everything they bought and everything they owe is on one page. - Fabric and stitching on one bill: Sell the fabric and book the stitching, then print a single invoice. Each part keeps its own tax rate. - Who owes what, across the shop: One list of every customer with a balance, split into stitching, fabric, clothing and the old paper book. - Collect once, settle everything: Take one payment and it is spread across the customer's unpaid bills, oldest first. - A tax rate for each part: Stitching, fabric and clothing can each have their own GST or VAT setting. - Switch parts on and off: Start with what you do today. Turn on another module when your shop grows into it. ## Common questions ### What is Loomton? Loomton is shop management software for tailors, fabric shops and ready-made clothing stores. It handles customers, orders, measurements, stock, billing with tax, and payments, for shops in any country. ### Can my staff use it, or can I use it on several devices? Today a shop has one login. Your records are saved online to that account, so signing in on another phone or computer brings them back. Separate logins for staff, and several devices working at the same moment, are not ready yet. They are being built for the paid Cloud plan. ### Do I have to use all three parts? No. Tailoring, fabric and clothing are separate modules. Switch on only what your shop does, and add another later if you need it. ### How much does it cost? Loomton is free to use during the beta. Paid plans will be announced before the beta ends, and there will always be a free plan for small shops. ### Where is my data stored? In your own account, online. You sign up with an email and password, and your customers, orders, stock and bills are saved to a secure database as you work. Only you can see your shop's data. You can also download a full backup file or export spreadsheets at any time. ### Which devices does it work on? It runs in the browser on phones, iPads, Android tablets and computers. There is nothing to download: open the website, sign in and use it. You need an internet connection. ### Which countries and currencies are supported? It works in any country. In Settings you choose your region, which sets the currency, number style and date order, and whether you charge GST, VAT or no tax. Invoices for India follow GST rules (CGST, SGST and IGST). The screens are in English for now.
